Join The League
The League has an average annual membership of more than 200 women who are professionals, community leaders, mothers, and entrepreneurs. We welcome all women regardless of race, religion, age or creed who are interested in making a positive impact in the community.
The Young Women's League welcomes New Members in September and January. All Members in the League maintain their membership good standing by earning participation credits earned by volunteering to help out with one of the League’s many volunteer opportunities and by attending General Meetings. Members that join in September must earn at least six Participation Credits and attend a minimum of four General monthly Meetings; dues for these Members are $95. Members joining in January are required to earn three Participation Credits and attend two General Meetings; dues for these New Members are $65.00.
Our website and monthly newsletters keep our Membership informed of all the upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. In order to fully enjoy the range of activities the YWL offers, Members are encouraged to divide their Participation Credits among Community Concern, Social, Fundraising and other League activities.
Prospective Member Coffees: We invite prospective members to attend one of our informational Coffees held in September and January. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the organization. General Membership meetings are held monthly beginning with a kick-off dinner in September and ending with a thank you dinner in May. Our monthly meetings begin with an opportunity to socialize over refreshments, meet new friends, learn about volunteer opportunities and hear invited guests speak on a range of topics matching Members' interests.
Social Events give Members a chance to connect and have fun. Ladies' Night Out Evenings and a Winter Gala are an integral part of the YWL calendar.
