The YWL has partnered with the CT Open for an exclusive opportunity!  Join us on Thursday, August 24th for a fun summer night of watching tennis [and drinking] at the Connecticut Open.  We have platinum seats reserved for the Women's Quarterfinal match followed by the Men's Legend's match of Tennis Hall of Fame inductee Michael Chang vs Fairfield’s James Blake.  We will be organizing party buses to take us to and from New Haven-more details to come!  A special discounted rate has been negotiated for the YWL-tickets are on sale for a limited time only!

The Connecticut Open is owned by the State of Connecticut and is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization that leverages the excitement of world-class women's tennis to benefit the community and maximize support for women's, youth and military causes in Connecticut.  The YWL is partnering with the Connecticut Open to get 50% of ticket sales donated back to the YWL.

The youngest ATP World Tour player to win a Grand Slam Singles Title, Chang returns to New Haven for the first time since 1995. Chang, who earned a career-high ranking of No. 2 in the world, won the 1989 French Open crown at 17 years old and won 34 singles titles on the ATP World Tour. Inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2008, Chang is the current coach of World No. 5 Kei Nishikori. Blake is a two-time Connecticut Open Champion, earning 10 singles and seven doubles titles on the ATP World Tour.
